Lavender Savory Butter

1/2 cup butter, softened
2 tsp dried lavender
1 tsp dried thyme
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper



Coarsely crush lavender and thyme (I pulse with garlic), then stir together with butter, zest, salt and pepper until well combined.

Spoon mixture onto plastic wrap, form into a log. Chill until firm.

This is awesome with roasted chicken, slide butter under skin of chicken and lightly spread over the outside and roast.
