Scented Geranium Sorbet

1 cup sugar
3 cups water
10-18 fresh scented geranium leaves
1 freshly squeezed lemon
*1 Tbls vodka



Bring sugar and water to a boil. Add scented geranium leaves. Remove from heat, cover and let steep for 30 minutes.

Strain mixture into a bowl - add lemon juice and vodka, stir until blended.

Pour into container, cover and place mixture in freezer for a few hours or overnight. When ready to serve mash with fork, you can always put in food processor or blender if you would like more uniform. Cover and refreeze until serving.

Ice Cream/Sorbet Machine Method:
Omit vodka, cool mixture in refrigerator for a few hours, put in machine for 20 +/- minutes and you will have a nice smooth sorbet.
