|1 12-oz can garbanzo
1 - 2 cloves garlic - to taste
2 - 3 tbsp tahini
juice of 3 lemons - to taste (Thelma uses Meyer lemons from her tree)
½ tsp salt
Drain garbanzo beans. Place all ingredients in blender and blend for 1-2 minutes until a smooth, slightly fluid paste is formed.
To adjust consistency you can use lemon juice, olive oil or water.
